What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and understand how you use the site. Cookies are widely used across the internet and are essential for many website features to work properly.
How We Use Cookies
Crochet Moses Baskets uses cookies for several purposes: to keep our website functioning correctly, to analyse how visitors use our site, and to support our payment processing. Below is a breakdown of the types of cookies we use.
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the basic operation of our website. Without them, features such as your shopping cart and checkout process would not work. Essential cookies include:
- Session cookies – keep you logged in and maintain your browsing session as you move between pages
- Cart cookies – remember the items you’ve added to your shopping basket so they’re still there when you proceed to checkout
- Security cookies – help protect against fraudulent activity and ensure secure transactions
These cookies do not collect personal information for marketing purposes and cannot be disabled without affecting how the website works.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. These cookies collect anonymised information such as:
- Which pages you visit and how long you spend on them
- How you arrived at our site (e.g. from a search engine, social media, or a direct link)
- Your general geographic location (country or city level, not your exact address)
- The type of device and browser you’re using
This data helps us improve our website by understanding what works well and what could be better. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous — it does not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Payment Cookies
When you make a purchase, our payment providers may set cookies on your device to process your transaction securely. These include cookies from:
- Stripe – our primary payment processor, which uses cookies for fraud detection and to remember your payment preferences
- Klarna – if you choose to pay later or in instalments, Klarna sets cookies to manage your payment plan
- Clearpay – similar to Klarna, Clearpay uses cookies when you select their pay-later option
- PayPal – if you pay via PayPal, their cookies help authenticate and process your payment
These cookies are set by the payment providers directly and are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.
Social Media Cookies
Our website includes links to our social media profiles on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. If you click these links, the respective platforms may set cookies on your device. We do not embed social media tracking pixels or widgets that set cookies without your interaction. Any cookies set by social media platforms are governed by their own policies.
How to Manage Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies are stored on your device
- Delete individual cookies or clear all cookies
- Block cookies from specific websites or all websites
- Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set

Please note: Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of our website from functioning correctly, including the shopping cart and checkout process.
Consent
By continuing to use our website, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting your browser settings to refuse cookies. If you disable cookies, some features of the website may not work as intended.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our business practices. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
